Why are we talking about Cage's false muscles? Because there isn't much to talk about otherwise in Ghostrider. It never was a famous comic book and its stanic references put a lot of pepople off. (Many people felt it portrayed the Devil as being too weak. I agree.)stuntrider johnny Baze (Cage0) sold his soul to Mephistopheles (Fonda)to save his father's life. Blaze became thetop stunt rider in the world doing increously hurt. Until one day, when Mephistopheles comes to hold him to his contract.
blackhart (Wes bentley)' Mephistopheles'son has decided to take over hell. To stop him, his father calls upon Blaze to become the Ghostrider, a kind of super-skeleton who is constantly on fire. Blaze must obey his bidding, stop Blackheart, get back Roxanne (Mendes), his old grilfriend , and save his soul. Are you still confused? Dont's worry, I am the movie and I have seen the movie and read a few comics.
Nicholas Cage wears a permanent bewildered expression whenever he is on screen. Eva Mendes wears figure-hugging outfits and displays a lot of cleavage, but is surprisingly cold. Peter Fonda should have sat at home.For such a ridiculous primise coming up with a decent screenplay was tough and writer-director Johnson doesn't prove equal to the task. The visual effects are nothing great and we already discussed Cage's muscles.
Ghostrider an adsolute waster of time and shouldn't appeal to anyone but the senseless, jobless and drunk, which sort of descibes the crowd I was with. If you are curious to see a flaming skeleton on two wheels then go ahead. Chances are you'll come out saying Cage's corny dialogue, " Feels like my skull's on fire."

A Llered Hitchcock takes a dectour feom international suspense for his American debut film, Rebecca The movice is a thriller of a different sort that explores the deths of the soul and mind.
There are no bad guys or good guys here-only some people who are psychologically affected in some way by the death of one woman: Rebecca de Winters.
The film is based on the novel of the same name by Daphne du Maurier. Joan Fontaine is an unhappy, mousy young woman employed as the companion-halpmeet to a cantankerous old dame.
While travelling , they come across a rich widower Max de winter, plyed by laurence olivier. This association leads to De Winter marring the young woman, who he takes to his hge estate , Mandalay.
Mandalay , beigns to give off nasty vibes and the new mistress is not welcomed by Mrs. Danvers , the housekeeper, who gives her the chills.
It is here that the spirit of Max's first wife , Rebecca, haunts the new wife, assisted by the loyalty of Mrs Danvers, played by judith Anderson . And the unapporachable Mrs Danvers begins her campaign to terrify the second Mrs de winter and drive her to insanity.
We never see the title character, but we can always fell her presence in every room and in the tables built around her.
The filam unfolds in an interesting wy and hooks the viewer right from the start.Fontaine is not comfortable with the rich life .And as we learn more about the grand Rebacca and her impact on not only her husband but also on other people, the new wife's situation becomes more precarious.
Hitchcock's feel for horror and his portrayal of the human emotions of loneliness, humiliation and sexual infidelity aong the leisured classes is convincing. What's remarkable about Rebecca is that it hooks the viewer through simple scenes where the danger is not a life-threating situation. the entire filam is steeped in a gothic atmosphere creating an ambience of horror.
Rebecca is the only filam of Hitchcock's to win a Best Picture Oscar. Unfortunately , Hitchcock belongs to the club of highly talented directors who have never won an Oscar.
The filam received a total of 11 nomination , Olivier and Fontaine were both nominated. Fontaine creates a character most people can identify with in certain situations and can care about.Olivier as a man troubled by a past appears convincingly lost. Judith Anderson, for her creeply potrayal of the cold and loyal housekeeper, was also nominated but lost.

O000ps! Britney has done it again!
As Britney Spears was reportedly checking out of rehab for the second time in a week, her estranged husband was making plans to go to court amid a custody dispute their two childrn.
Kevin Federline and his lawyer were sheduled to appear at a downtown courthouse for an emergency hearing in family law court, Superior court spokesman Allan Parachini told the Associated Press.
"Our best information is he will be here; she won't, " said parachini. But anything is possible." It was not known what Federline intended to ask the court. He sought support and sole custody of Jayden James, 5 months, after Spears moved to end their two-year marriage in november, but a temporary order issued custody through this month.
Parachini said Federline's lawyer would try to persuade a superior court commissioner that the matter is urgent enough to be handled on an expedited basis.
The move comes amid increasingly bizarre behaviour by spears, which culminated with her reportedly checking into and out of two rehab centers and shaving her head bald on friday.
Spears, 25, left the Promises Malibu Treatment centre on wednesday, according to " The Insider" TV news magazine, less than a day after ariving at the facility that specializes in treating drug and alcohol abuse.

All through the performance, Mallika Shwrawat remained distracted and ultimately uncoordinated with the rest of the dance troupe. Apparently Mallika , who had struk of deal of over Rs50 lakh (some put the figure at Rs 70 lakh ) for a 45-minute dance pefomnce, was miffed at the presence of TV cameras.
The media-savvy actress had allegedly agreed to the perfomance only on the condition that TV crews would not be allowed and her perfomance would not be telecast.
However, the agreemet was boken and now she is demanding compensaion to the tune of Rs 15 lakh-failing which she will take the hotel to court.
She is hot and she charged Rs 50 lakh to pull a men's pants down .
New Year revellers at a fivestar hotel in Mambai paid between Rs 5,000 and Rs 9,000 to see the hot body of Mallika Sherawat. But they were in for a surprise. Dressed in a diamond encrusted nude-toned outfit, Mallika didn't reveal much , and the perfomance was over in 15 minuters.In the middle of the dance , Mallika suddenly pulled a male dancer's pants down.
This act has raised considerable heat in the blogosphere.

Life Beyond Amithab BachchanAmitabh is amitabh and shahrukh is shahrukh ,said one wise old lady , interiviewed on the Nth channel about the relative merits of Big B and Shahrukh in the new Kaun Banega Crorepati. And who was it who said.''Comparisons are odious''? It dose not really matter. But the hype surrounding the launch of the new KBC took up much more time on the small screen than the show itself . Actually, both the above quotes are true. Itwas obvious that the producers were intent on giving a new, youthful look to the show , and Shahrukh exuberntly into the act. He is always jumpy, even in real life and in interviews, and this proved a foil to Big B's sedate graciousness and sophisticated humour. A slight change of language, freeze for lock kar diya jaye and a hug instead of ''I quit'' added the minor changes of detail.
Shaharukh went a trifle too far, perhaps, when he messaged the neck of the nervous contestant and gave a bear hug to many departing contestants , but since the audience lapped it up who are we to complain ? Bollywood seems solidly behind shahrukh and so were the majority of viewers inteviewed , perticularly the aam log

"It Will Take Four years To Measure Great Wall".
Beijing in china will launch a four year geographical survey of the great wall in april to determine its exact length , layout and current counditions.
The great wall , an ancient defence faility in china , has widely known to stretch more than 5,000 Kms.
Field research of the section built in the Ming Dynasty(1368-1644) will finish in the early half of the next year. Results of it will be announced in a few months, accourding to chin's state Administration of cultural Heritage (SACH) and state Bereau of surveying and Mapping (SBSM).
Field reaserch results of the great wall , which is on the world Heritage of the UNISCO, built in earlier periods will be announced in the following 2 years .
The survey will be conducted in 13 provinces, autonomous regions and municipality , inculiding Beijing ,Hebei ,Shanxi ,Gansu and inner mongolia ,Xinhua news agency reported ,In 220 B.C. , sectons of earlier fortifications in north china were joined together to form a united defince system against invasions from the northern nomadic tribes.
Construction continued up to the Ming Dynastry, when the great wall became the world's largest milatery structure. Local governments have been gathering stastics on the great wall since the 1980s. But sue to limited knowledge and technology , much of the grat wall is stiil in mystery.
The departments will jointly establish a database based on the result of their nsurvey to facilitate future research and protectio of the Graet Wall.

Legendary Canadian director james Cameron has announced plans for his movie scienc 1997,s Oscar-winning epic Titanic, film trade press has reported.
Cameron will return with a 200-million-dollar science fiction film title Avatar , which tells the story of a band of humans locked in a battle with inhabitans of a distant planet.
The 52-year-old director said he had conceived the project 11 years ago but had been waiting for technological advancements that will enable him to bring his vision to the big screen.
''I've wanted to do it science then, but sort of shoved it in the back of the pic,'' Cameron told Daily Variet on Tuesday. The project was given the green light by fox studios earlier this week.
The movie is due for releas in 2009, 12year after Titanic, one of the most expensive and successful films in the history of cinema. The film grossed $1.8 billon at the box office and bagged 11 Oscars.
Cameron will work closely with New Zealand Lord of the rings director peter jakson on the project, Variety reported.
Cameron had been reported to be preparing another science fiction film ,Battle Angel, but plans for the movie have taken a backseat to work on Avatar, Variety said.
