Mahesh Babu is the son of Tollywood Super Star Krishna.

Mahesh Babu after finishing his B.Com from the famous Loyola College in Chennai, He made a debut as hero with the film Rajakumarudu with priety Zinta which was a big hit. A series of hits soon made Mahesh Babu the heart-throb of Tollywood.

Mahesh's performance was applauded by even Ram Gopal Varma and Amitabh Bachchan.

Mahesh Babu, married co-star in Vamsi, Namrata Sirodkar in the year 2005. The simple wedding Feb 10 was a very private affair with only close relatives in attendence.

The pokiri film was premiered at the 2006 International Indian Film Academy Awards, along with Tollywood super-hit Tagore. This film created many records and is currently the highest grossing film in the Telugu Film Industry.

In the US, the pokiri film grossed $200,000 USD in the first two weeks , and grossed $350,000 by June 2006. Pokiri grossed a total amount of about $500,000 at the US box office.

Pokiri was one of the highest grossers in the Indian film industry for 2006.
This is the first Telugu film to ever cross the 40-crore mark. Mahesh Babu's sister Manjula co-produced this film .The last stunt sequence in the climax was shot for about 10 days.

Filmi weddings yhat took place, those that didn't and those that will

Nowadays every conversation opens with the predictable, " Hi, so when are you going for the wedding?" I don't need to specify which weddind they are talking about .Everyone presumes the date has already been set is being kept under wraps.Well, belive what you like, but THE DATE for THE WEDDING hasn't been set as yet.

Can't help wondering if the Abhishek-Aishwarya wedding would be as the Big-Jaya wedding 35 years ago.As a star -stuck youngster I've very faint recollections of it.Their how covered in Filmfare and on DD.That's how far celebrity weddings went in those times.Nawab pataudi-sharmila Tagore, Randhir kapoor-Babita,Ab-Jaya, Rajesh-Dimple, Gulzar-Raakhee, Jeetendra-Shobha kapoor all got married between 1960-1975 in quick succession.

Recalling her wedding Raakhee had once told me how gate - crashers out-numbered the invitees.The best thing is to gracious about unwanted guests .At most of these star weddings the hosts are quiet about the intrusion.Who wants to create a parrellel tamasha?

As the Ash-Abhishek alliance becomes the most talked-about marriage in recent times i am reminded of other weddings where i've been sincerely welcomed.


The most recent ones were perizaad Zorabian and Iqbal Khan.I've never met these actors in my life.But they sent me such ardent invitations i was movied-though not to the venue of their weddings in Mumbai.

The one wedding i regret missing was Karishma kapoor's.Although i don't know her at all, her sister kareena who's one helluva possessive and persistent friend, was admant.I should have gone.And my rakhi-sister Raveena.

A lot of filmi relationships just don't lead to the altar.and it's a heart-breaking experience in its own right to see the heart break hapen.Viveik Oberoi's girlfriend gurupreet(now happily married) was so devoted to him she accompanied him on every outdoor to look after his every need.Then company happened.Viveik movied on.

The wedding that i'm now looking forward to are John Abraham And Bioasha Basu, Shahid-Kareena and two couples will make it legal.They're in no hurry.But seeing the volume of their mutual affection I've no doubt that the alliances are going to happen.

As fir Aishwarya And Abhishek Bachchan, They don't wish to discuss their feelings or wedding plans in public.And we need to respect that for the relationship to blossom.I've my sherwani launderred and ready.Now it's your call, Abhishek.


Ajay Devagan, Kajol as Ram and Sita?


Although Ajay Devagan fans look forwars to his filams, Rajkumar santoshi hasn't been very forthcoming of late where his filams are concerned.In fact , we keep hearing of him having announced a filam, only to learn much later that it's been shelved.But looks like the filammaker has now decided to launch his next mega-filam, and this time he's going to make Ramyan for the big screen.And guess what his dream cast would be? Shilpa Shetty Offered lead role in Chicago

Celebrity Big Brother Winner shilpa Shetty has been offered with a lead role in the west end musical chicago but the Bollywood actress is yet to take a decision on the matter, her spokesman said.


"Shilpa shetty was invited to see the musical on tuesday and she has enjoyed it and its producers have offered her one of the main roles in the musical but she is yet to decide,"the spokesman farthat Hussain said.

shilpa shetty, who was here to participate in a Zee carnival at Olympia, left for Mumbai Wednesday night and would retyrn here on march 11 to attend the commonwealth day.The celebrity Big Brother winner will join big names such as Elton John at the star -studded show at wembley.

The Director Yograj Bhat directs this film starring Ganesh and Sanjana Gandhi. Music Director Mano Murthy composes some simple tunes with effective melody. The hindi top singers like Sonu Nigam, Shreya Goshal, Stephen, Sunidhi Chauhan, Udit Narayan, Hemanth, Kunal Ganjawala and Preeya Hemesh have rendered the songs.Most of the all singers in this movie is hindi singers.

Mungaru male is mostly shot in the rainy season in the Karnataka's visually stunning Malnad area. The film rocks because of the fantastic photography by Krishna. Director Yogaraj Bhat also has added his bit with some refreshing dialogues. The lilting music will go down well with the younger audience. And then there is energetic artist Ganesh whose television work has already rewarded him with a big fan .

Ganesh, better known as 'Comedy Time' Ganesh because of his extremely popular TV show has grown from a two-scene comedian to a full-fledged hero. Ganesh turned hero in Chellaata and the film ran well.

Sanjana Gandhi, the Mumbai-imported heroine of the Mungaru Male.

Preetham is a kiddo with no near future goal. He falls in love with Nandini at the first sight. He decides to search for her. Accidently they keep coming across each other. When he finds her he shares his feelings for her. But she refuses. He warns her if he finds her next time then he will marry her. He feels disturbed when he comes to know she is getting married. He decides to go away from her. If that was the case the movie would have said to end, but it doesn’t! Must watch movie. Watch it and find out what happens next.

The film doesn’t have a strong story line but the pace keeps it going. A heart touching scene by Ganesh after he drinks neera is lake. The climax is not a usual one. Climax is what shocked me the most. The Jog falls scene is one of the best moments in the movie, the rabbit- Devdas is one more plus point in the movie. Music by Mano Murthy( heard he is a NRI). Lyrics by Shiva, Kaviraj, Jayanth Kaykani, Yogaraj Bhat. Yograj Bhat’s direction. Producers: E Krishnappa, G Gangadhar. Picturisation of the songs are good. Sonu Nigam, Udit Narayan, Kunal Ganjawala, Sunidhi Chauhan, Shreya Goshal and others have contributed for the wonderful songs.

In this film i like Ganesh (Preetham) acting, Anath nag acting, Locations of shooting, Sanjana Gandhi(Nandini), Devdas(Rabbit). In 2006 my favorite movie is Sudeep My Autograph, But know is Mungaru Male.

A dialy pranayama shedule gets your breathing in order and makes your vital organs strong.

Brathing is vital as it is the very life force in the body.According to the principles of pranayama, breath has three paths after every inhalation-lungs , brain, and stomach. Breathing right ensures the right levels of oxygen and life force in the body.simply put the right way to breathe is as a baby does.Over the years, people develop shallow or unduly long breathing that is detrimantal to health.Ideally, right breathing involves even in hallow breathing, some amount of carbon dioxide gets left behind in the body as you exhale lesser than the amount you inhale.

Accourding to ancient scriptures, the life span of an individual is 120 years.All organs are meant to function well for so many years.However, due to incorrect breathing that people get used to over the yars, the organs get weak much sooner.

With the practice of pranayamas, you can correct your breathing.It is a simple and easy way to good health. While practicing the pranayama, there are two important points to note-you need to sit in a firm posture without movement, and the spine should be straight.

However, people who have undergone surgery or have heart ailments should practice pranayama only under the guidance of an expert.

Here are four basic pranayama you can practice daily:

1. Bhastrika Pranayama

Method:

• Sit on the floor crosslegged, or upright on a chair with feet on the ground , or in any meditation posture
• Place writs on knees, palms up.Hold index fingertips against thumbs, just above the line halfway
• Exhale completly with the same force
• Each inhalation and exhalation is one cycle
• Repeate 21 times

What it does: It strengthens the mind and nervous system.

2. Naadishuddhi pranayama

Method:

• Sit as in previous case
• Place left wrist on the left knee, palm up.Hold index fingertip against thumb, just above the line halfway
• Exhale all air in the lungs
• Close right nostrill with right thumb and take a deep slow breath through left nostril
• Closing left nostril with ring and little fingures, exhale slowly and completly through the right nostril
• Then inhale slowly and deeply through the right nostril
• Close right nostril with thumb and exhale slowly and completely through left nostril
• This is one cycle
• Repeat 21 times

What it does: This rectfies imbalances in the body.It improves blood circulation and concentration.it leads to all-round health.

3. Kapalabhati prayanayama

Method:

1. Sit in the previous case
2. Place wrists on knees, palms up.Hold index fingertips against thumbs, just above the halfway
3. Breathe out in brusts, forcing air out of lungs wile drawing stomach in sharply at the same time
4. You need not be conscious of breathing in during the process but be conscious of breathing out.
5. Pactice for 21 times and increase gradually

What it does:It is good for the nervous and digestive systems.It is useful in controlling diabetes.It is also beneficial to patients with prostrate gland enlargement, and problems related to gall bladder, liver, kidney and urinary bladder.

4. Bhramari prayanama

Method:

• Sit as in previous case
• Exhale all air in the lungs
• Close eyes with middle and ring fingers, with little fingers beside the nostrils and index fingers on the forehead just above the eyebrows
• Inhale slowly and deeply
• Slowly exhale completely with a continous humming sound( like that of a bee)
• This is one cycle
• Repeate 21 times

What it does: It cures anxiety , depression and reduces high BP।

As Britney Spears was reportedly checking out of rehab for the second time in a week, her estranged husband was making plans to go to court amid a custody dispute their two childrn.

Kevin Federline and his lawyer were sheduled to appear at a downtown courthouse for an emergency hearing in family law court, Superior court spokesman Allan Parachini told the Associated Press.

"Our best information is he will be here; she won't, " said parachini. But anything is possible." It was not known what Federline intended to ask the court. He sought support and sole custody of Jayden James, 5 months, after Spears moved to end their two-year marriage in november, but a temporary order issued custody through this month.

Parachini said Federline's lawyer would try to persuade a superior court commissioner that the matter is urgent enough to be handled on an expedited basis.

The move comes amid increasingly bizarre behaviour by spears, which culminated with her reportedly checking into and out of two rehab centers and shaving her head bald on friday.

Spears, 25, left the Promises Malibu Treatment centre on wednesday, according to " The Insider" TV news magazine, less than a day after ariving at the facility that specializes in treating drug and alcohol abuse.

The Director Yograj Bhat directs this film starring Ganesh and Sanjana Gandhi. Music Director Mano Murthy composes some simple tunes with effective melody. The hindi top singers like Sonu Nigam, Shreya Goshal, Stephen, Sunidhi Chauhan, Udit Narayan, Hemanth, Kunal Ganjawala and Preeya Hemesh have rendered the songs.Most of the all singers in this movie is hindi singers.

Mungaru male is mostly shot in the rainy season in the Karnataka's visually stunning Malnad area. The film rocks because of the fantastic photography by Krishna. Director Yogaraj Bhat also has added his bit with some refreshing dialogues. The lilting music will go down well with the younger audience. And then there is energetic artist Ganesh whose television work has already rewarded him with a big fan .

Ganesh, better known as 'Comedy Time' Ganesh because of his extremely popular TV show has grown from a two-scene comedian to a full-fledged hero. Ganesh turned hero in Chellaata and the film ran well.

Sanjana Gandhi, the Mumbai-imported heroine of the Mungaru Male.

Preetham is a kiddo with no near future goal. He falls in love with Nandini at the first sight. He decides to search for her. Accidently they keep coming across each other. When he finds her he shares his feelings for her. But she refuses. He warns her if he finds her next time then he will marry her. He feels disturbed when he comes to know she is getting married. He decides to go away from her. If that was the case the movie would have said to end, but it doesn’t! Must watch movie. Watch it and find out what happens next.

The film doesn’t have a strong story line but the pace keeps it going. A heart touching scene by Ganesh after he drinks neera is lake. The climax is not a usual one. Climax is what shocked me the most. The Jog falls scene is one of the best moments in the movie, the rabbit- Devdas is one more plus point in the movie. Music by Mano Murthy( heard he is a NRI). Lyrics by Shiva, Kaviraj, Jayanth Kaykani, Yogaraj Bhat. Yograj Bhat’s direction. Producers: E Krishnappa, G Gangadhar. Picturisation of the songs are good. Sonu Nigam, Udit Narayan, Kunal Ganjawala, Sunidhi Chauhan, Shreya Goshal and others have contributed for the wonderful songs.

In this film i like Ganesh (Preetham) acting, Anath nag acting, Locations of shooting, Sanjana Gandhi(Nandini), Devdas(Rabbit). In 2006 my favorite movie is Sudeep My Autograph, But know is Mungaru Male.

Salaam-e-ishq is almost four hours long...why aren't Bollywood filams shorter in today's jaldi-fix-age?


IT's a filam that's amost four hoyr long.when salaam-e-ishq was released last week, almost all the reviews centred around its inordinate length.Director Nikhil Advani jastified it,saying, It has six different tracks which merge intoone story.The length is just right.I couldn't have made it shorter...Not once does it get lengthargic.A shorter filam wouldn't work...conversely a good filam that holds the viewer's interest with a running time of even four hours might still work."


Not so , says Minnalae directro gautam Menon, who ensures his filams stay within a two -and -half hour time-frame.I'm very consciouse of length.In india, we don't edit scripts when we write them-filammakers just shoot, while Hollywood has a script-aditing process which times every scene.


He's surprised at Nikhil Advani's justficaton of the length."People can't sit in a theatre for that long.A director must be a butcher-let go of what he considers beautiful scenes if they aren't essential to the filam."

Kareena kapoor promises that the item number she is doing in kya love story hai will be her lsat.

After doing her second item number in the Tusshar Kapoor-Ayesha Takia starer, Kya Love Story Hai.

Kareena kapoor has decided that this will be her swan song, as far as item numbers go.


On both instances( the first being Yeh mera Dill in Don)the Kareena has agreed to do the item numbers as a favour to friends. The most recent one has been for good friend and director Lovely Singh.
The item song will be filmed in March and probably choreographed by ganesh hegde."But please , no more item songs fter this , even for friends. I wouldn't have done it for anyone else," says Kareena

Meanwhile, Kareena will act in the yeshraj filam Tasal

Abhishek, Aishwarya to marry in Jodhpur?

The post-wedding bashes of Hollywood actress Liz Hurley and India next week are certainly the talk of town, but now Rajsthan is rolling out the red carpet for the marriage of none other than actors Abhshek and Aishwarya Rai. Umaid Bhavan Palace may be the ceremony source say. Amitabh Bachchan has sent a couple of his close friends to Jodhpur to finalise the hotel bookings.

Besides Umaid Bhavan, as many as four other hotels are to be booked in Jodhpur and Jaisalmer for the marriage ceremones.The Bachchans want these hotels booked for a period of three days from March 18. The marriage is expected to take place March 19,these sources said.However, March being tourism season in Rajasthan, they are finding it difficult to get the requird number of in both the cities, the sources said.Close friends of the Bachchans who are camping in Jodhpur for the last couple of days have started to look for other hotels nearby, the sources said. Thes include Khimsar Fort.Balsamand Palace and Rohet Fort.

Earlier, the marriage ceremony was slated to take place in Jodhpur it would be.
Sources, however, said so far nothing has been finalised.As directed by astrologers , the Bachchan family is interested in tying the knot as soon as possible.
Before that though, Umaid Bhavan will play host to the much talked about post-wedding parties of Hurley and Nayar. The two will marry in London Saturday after which they will hold celebrations in Mumbai and Jodhpur.



Preparations for theparty are reportedly in full swing in Jodhpur where the couple have booked the hotel from March 7-10.



The couple will hold two more parties at the imposing Mehrangarh Fort on March 9 and the pretty red sandstone structure, Balsamand Palace, 5 km from JOdhpur, March 10. It is , of cource, Umaid Bhavan Palace, that is the most sought after. Perched high above Jodhpur, it is the last of the great palaces of India and one of the largest residences in the world - set amidst 26 acres of lush gardens.



This golden-yellow sandstone monument was conceived on the grandest possible scale, in the fashionable Art Deco style of that time. After 15 years of construction, the 347-room palas was finally completed in 1943 - and has served as the principal residence of the Jodhpur royal family since.



Designed by renowned Edwarian architect Henry Lanchester, the palace is a blend of Eastern and Western architectural influences.

A part of the palace is still the residence of the royal family and another section house a museum displaying a range of antiques from the royal past. The hotel portion has 64 rooms, including 40 suites, and is now a part of Taj group of hotels. Hollywood star couple Angelina Jolie and Brad Pitt had also stayed there during their recent India visit.
