The waistline of 70-year-old North Carolina grandmother Cathie Jung measures only 15in, and has been recognized as the world's smallest living person's waistline by the Guinness Book Of Records.

Cathie’s astonishing 39-15-39 figure is the result of wearing tight corsets in last 25 years, which only remove when she showers and only when the weather is unbearably hot. She is wearing 24 hours a day now. “I probably have around 100 of them,” Cathie said.

One person who was sleeping on the sidewalk died and three others were injured. Charges of culpable homicide were laid against him, but later dropped . However, some legal action in this case appears to be on-going.

Relationship troubles : His turbulent relationship with Aishwarya Rai filled gossip columns. Her parents lodged a complaint against him. and he was thrown off a movie set on which Ms. Rai was filming.

In 2005, news outlets released what was said to be an illicit copy of a mobile phone call recorded in 2001 by the Mumbai police. It appeared to be a call in which he threatened his ex-girlfriend, Aishwarya Rai, in an effort to force her to appear at social events held by Mumbai crime figures.

Ganesh Chaturthi in September 15 is the celebration of the birth of Ganesh. It is also known as Vinayaka Chaturthi in Sanskrit, Kannada, Tamil and Telugu. The festival is observed in the Hindu calendar month of Bhaadrapada, starting on the shukla chaturthi (fourth day of the waxing moon period).

Ganesh Chaturthi held in all over India, it is at its most elaborate in Maharashtra, Gujarat, Karnataka and Andhra Pradesh, and other areas which were former states of the Maratha Empire.

The celebration of Ganesh Chaturthi continue to odd number of days like five, seven, or ten days. Some even stretch it to twenty one days, but ten the most popularly celebrated.

Ganesha is invited with a special phrase and with material and verbal offerings, the puja begins. It involves the panchamrut (five nectars), which includes milk, curd, ghee, honey and jaggery, with which the god's icon is bathed, cleansing in between with water.


How Ganesha born?

Traditional stories tell that Lord Ganesha was created by goddess Parvati, consort of Lord Shiva. Parvati created Ganesha out of sandalwood paste that she used for her bath and breathed life into the figure. She then set him to stand guard at her door while she bathed. However, while she bathed, Lord Shiva returned and as Ganesha didn't know him, he didn't allow him to enter. Lord Shiva became enraged and severed the head of the child and entered his house. After realizing that he had beheaded his own son, Lord Shiva fixed the head of an elephant (in some versions, Airavata, the vehicle of the god Indra) in place of Ganesha's head. In this way, Lord Ganesha came to be depicted as the elephant-headed God.

Why we celebrate Vinayaka Chaturthi ?

The name Ganesha is a Sanskrit compound, joining the words gana , meaning a group, multitude, or categorical system and isha , meaning lord or master. The word gaņa when associated with Ganesha is often taken to refer to the gaņas, a troop of semi-divine beings that form part of the retinue of Shiva The term more generally means a category, class, community, association, or corporation. Some commentators interpret the name "Lord of the Gaņas" to mean "Lord of created categories," such as the elements, etc. The translation "Lord of Hosts" may convey a familiar sense to Western readers. Ganapati is a synonym for Ganesha, being a compound composed of gaṇa, meaning "group", and pati, meaning "ruler" or "lord".

Above we understand that Ganesh means a Group. In 1947 and before Ganesha used to group the peoples and attract the peoples in public places for discussing how to get indipendence from british, For this reasion know also we celebrate Ganesh Chaturthi in public places.

* Pokiri collected a of net gross of 66.50 crores and a net share of 48.285 crores which is highest ever collected by a South Indian film followed by Rajinkant's 'chandramuki' which managed a gross of 50 crores.

* Pokiri occupies the second place in All Indian Top Grossers ever, falling short of the highest grosser Gaddar by just 3.50 crores which collected 70 crores.

Pawan Kalyan first got married to Nandini, after some time they both got separated but never divorced due to personal reasons. Pawan Kalyan then fell in love with Renu Desai who was his co-star in the movie and married her.The couple have a son named Akira Nandan, named after his favourite director Akira Kurosawa.Pawan was previously involved with Paritala Ravindra on a few real estate issues.He is significantly mellowed these days after a string of flops and is said to be looking into the long term.
